Rita is a native New Yorker with a global perspective and a professional journey that has taken her from Tokyo to Beijing to Silicon Valley. After earning her M.A. in Linguistics from Columbia University, she spent a decade in academia, including six years teaching in Japan and later lecturing at her alma mater. A unique opportunity then led her to Beijing, where she served as executive assistant and foreign liaison to the CEO and founder of JD.com, a Fortune 500 company. There, she managed high-level international operations—including property acquisition and estate management—which sparked her interest in real estate.
After frequent visits to the Bay Area for business, Rita made the move to Silicon Valley, drawn by its natural beauty and entrepreneurial energy. She continued in private estate management and served as executive assistant to the founder of Houzz in Palo Alto before officially transitioning to real estate—a calling that felt both organic and inevitable. Backed by her data-driven mindset, tireless work ethic, and global sensibility, Rita quickly made her mark by closing over $100M in residential transactions within her first two years as a licensed agent.
Rita brings a rare combination of international experience, executive-level discretion, and academic precision to every client relationship. Her approach is highly strategic and always personal—driven by thoughtful communication, market expertise, and a genuine commitment to client success.
Now based in Menlo Park, Rita lives with her partner Guillaume (chef and owner of local favorite BarZola in Palo Alto), stepson Jeffrey, and their beloved rescue dog. She’s an avid reader, interiors enthusiast, and active member of her community who finds joy in great food, live music, and meaningful conversations with friends, family, and clients alike.
Rita’s work thrives on the synergy between place and purpose, turning local insight into exceptional client outcomes.
